(August 2000)

New York put on a "Cow Parade," just like
the one we discovered in Chicago last summer.
Behold a "cab cow."

We enjoyed dinner with one of our
favorite people, Dana -- mwuhh!

A stylish and intricate mosaic in
the subway caught our eye.

A visit to the famed J.P. Morgan Library
to view a Gutenberg Bible
and other priceless things
(sorry -- no pictures allowed inside!).

Robin's favorite painting turns up at
New York's Museum of Modern Art.
Can you make out what it is, dahling?

Vicky Jo catches up with a Van Gogh conspicuously absent from
last summer's LACMA exhibit.

We were struck by the Jungian symbolism
in a Magritte painting.
(Be honest: don't your romances start this way?)

Yowsa!  Monet to the max!

What trip would be complete without visiting a
building designed by Mr. Frank Lloyd Wright?

...Some people did a little *shopping*...

...and somebody got a new tie. (Can you spot the symbolic Eiffel hidden in the pattern?)

With all the rain, we ducked inside
an Imax to catch a movie.

Gee movies have changed, dear...
They didn't used to require glasses.

Robin finds his mummy in the Brooklyn Museum.

And Vicky Jo falls for some fabulous Tiffanies.

My hero! Robin killed a mosquito in the car and I'm POSITIVE it carried the deadly West Nile virus!!
